It's official. VR is undead

At the recent IMPPA convention a group of unknown to the public, but none-the-less very influential and long-standing advisers to games and technology innovation, declared it was finally "Official, VR is undead". "VR clearly died a hard death by hardware limitations vs. public speculation and imagination, at around June of 1996," said the important analyst. "That it's still here at all, much less there being heavy commercial competition driving the lowest prices ever seen, clearly shows it's dug itself out of a grave". Someone else standing around the ComCom Corp. booth added, "VR is basically looking pretty good right now considering it's been a corpse for about 20 years or so".
